My food journey began when I began receiving local farm bags, and became a vegetarian. (Technically, I’m an occasional pescatarian, but you won’t find any fish recipes here.) Before I received these bi-monthly bags of goodness, my home cooking repetoire was pretty limited.
I have written about this journey for a few years, on-and-off, and recently felt I could make this more fully fleshed out and formal. Here, I’ll share my suggestions for maintaining a cost-effective pantry, cooking hearty, mostly healthy vegetarian food, and how my food ties to my family and memories.
